Glenda Queen, with a background in arts and crafts, entered the jewelry business in 1964. After eleven years making jewelry at McLeans in Sausalito, she and her present partner Terry Brumbaugh, opened Union Street Goldsmith. Glenda chose a neighborhood she hoped would be a comfortable setting for her craftsmen as well as her clients and it worked.

At Union Street Goldsmith, you can be just as much at ease in running clothes as you can be in more formal attire.

"My designs are aimed at a casual, active, lifestyle, but because the materials we use are of such high quality, they fall into the fine jewelry category. I strive to create youthful timeless designs. Simple and soft with lots of color. I feel so very grateful that I found a profession in the arts, that 35 years later still gives me that big charge."
